Notice of Public Hearings

 The Clearcreek Board of Township Trustees wishes to levy an annual license tax upon the operation of motor vehicles on the public roads and highways in the unincorporated territory of the township for any purpose authorized by R.C. 4504.181, which tax is in addition to the tax levied by Section 4503.02, 4503.07, and other taxes levied under Chapter 4504 of Revised Code; and tax collected by the county pursuant to Section 4504.181 of the Ohio Revised Code shall be levied at the rate of $5 per motor vehicle on all motor vehicles the district of registration of which is located in the unincorporated area Clearcreek Township, as defined in section 4503.10 of the Revised Code;

Two public hearings will be held in accordance with statutory requirements on the question of the enactment of an annual license tax pursuant to Section 4504.181 of the Ohio Revised Code, with the first hearing held on April 22, 2026, at 7pm., and the second hearing held on April 29, 2026  at  7pm., at the Offices of the Board of Trustees of Clearcreek Township 11060 Main Street, Stoutsville.
